1) I'm using Rapid weaver 4.3.1 and my page peel doesn't work in preview mode. Could be that you have to modify the security settings from flash to see the page peel work in rapid weaver. More info you can find over here:

2) If you use "/" to structure your website you don't have to set the path to images as described in the manual (assets/etc...) Instead you have to use the page name as a prefix before the word assets like: index_assets/etc ...
